CLARA JEANNE REED

she used to be mine.

"She Used to Be Mine" is a series of moving portraits inspired by the song of the same name by Sara Bareilles.  It is an implied self-portrait, with my younger sister posing as a representation of myself.  It is meant to represent the transient moments in life, when no one place is definable as home anymore, and you don't always recognize yourself in the mirror.  There's no narrative but rather a journey through past lives and remnants of memories, and how to come back to yourself, expressed through portraiture.
